The Films of Steven Soderbergh: KAFKA

As much as we love to praise film-makers for their successes, we must also recognize their failures. Not to constantly beat them down but to help them improve with their career. The years after Sex, Lies & Videotape were not kind to Soderbergh, which started with this alternate history mystery story. But still, it was necessary for him to learn what kind of filmmaker he truly is.

Once again, this video showcases the decisions utilized in Kafka, quite possibly the least seen of Soderbergh’s oeuvre.
