Back in 2015, I made the decision to analyse the film-making techniques of every movie Steven Soderbergh had made up to his retirement. The series is still ongoing, but to celebrate the release of Soderbergh’s newest film Logan Lucky, I will be posting my episodes here on Lewton Bus. To kick things off, we might as well start at where it all began by taking a look at his Palme d’Or-winning debut feature, Sex, Lies and Videotape.
